Heritage Community Crafts CIC

Heritage Community Crafts CIC runs craft workshops to teach traditional and modern craft skills to groups of teenagers and adults. We facilitate creative events to under represented groups of adults, seniors and teenagers, and those excluded from wider society.

For example:
Teenagers who have been excluded from mainstream education and attending pupil referral units. Care-affected and looked after teenagers.

Older African and Caribbean Seniors who are part of the ‘Windrush’ Generation, including those who served in the British Armed Forces for Great Britain during World War 2.

We display our crafts in public exhibitions every year. Our exhibitions were seen by over 3000 members of the public during 2024/2025. Being a member of UpShot enables us to manage the data of participants and their feedback.

  • Gathering together in neutral spaces to engage in group activities
  • Public exhibitions and opportunities to learn and share
  • Connecting individuals and our shared social histories
