Make a Miniature Tudor Locket at Sutton House

Hackney Community Group 'Young At Heart' meet in Sutton House, 2 and 4 Homerton High St, London E9 6JQ.

Elizabeth drew inspiration from the painting of Mrs Sadlier in the Great Chamber. In the painting she is coyly pointing at an orange tree. Orange trees represent happiness and prosperity so we embellished our portraits with tiny orange circles during our Workshop.

Tudor portrait miniatures were tokens of love and affection.

Everyone bought creative vibes to the Workshop, and expressed themselves in their own style - no two lockets were the same.
